Key Accountabilities

In this role, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our group travel bookings, and ensuring FIT pricings are competitive in the marketplace. You’ll be responsible for interacting with trade partners, processing group demands, and providing exceptional customer service

  1. Collaborate effectively with the line manager and teammates to achieve team goals.
  2. Assist the sales team in handling group inquiries and ensuring timely responses (within 24 hours) to trade partners via email and phone.
  3. Process sales and trade group demands accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
  4. Work with the Revenue Management team to negotiate and obtain competitive quotes for group bookings.
  5. Maintain and update data in various formats, sharing reports with the line manager on a weekly and monthly basis.
  6. Conduct follow-ups on time limits, quotes, and name updates.
  7. Analyse FIT fares compared to competitors and market trends, following a weekly schedule.
  8. Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with B2B, B2C clients, and team members.
  9. Demonstrate exceptional time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
  10. Proficiently use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to create and submit daily group reports.
  11. Provide comprehensive support to sales agents during sales activities. Track and follow up on group bookings.

  14. Generate and submit daily and monthly GIT reports for the sales team.
  15. Follow up on group quotations with the Revenue Management team for any negotiations.

  17. Obtain OK to Board (OKTB) for all paper visas associated with GIT bookings.
  18. Support the sales team with GDS and Weblink capping procedures.
  19. Maintain close communication with trade partners to ensure smooth closure of GIT transactions
  20. Participate in decision-making on day-to-day adjustments with Revenue Management and line management for both FIT and GIT bookings.
  21. Follow up on group requests received from trade partners and track issuance with sales after PNR creation.
  22. Implement and disseminate grid/policies and capping procedures for the Pakistan region.
  23. Take responsibility for specific tasks assigned by management.
  24. Collaborate closely with the Revenue Management teams for FIT fare adjustments.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience/ Knowledge / Skills

Minimum Qualification: University Degree or equivalent

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales support role or a related field
  2. Experience in the travel industry is a plus.

Knowledge / Skills:

  1. Knowledge and understanding of GDS.
